In spring, the natural charm of the Pinzgau mountains enchants recreation-seekers, cheerful hikers and passionate mountain bikers alike. The Maiskogel cable car is daily open and brings you directly in the center of the hiking paradise.

The green meadows, clear mountain streams and an extensive network of hiking trails invite visitors to hike, go mountain biking, spend moments of quiet relaxation and unwind.

The unique recreational corridor next to the Schaufelberg car park has made the opportunities for families complete: above all the Maisiflitzer, the first alpine rollercoaster in Salzburger Land, guaranteeing exhilarating rides up and down the mountain (open year-round), a big playground, “Maisi’s Mini World”, with a bounce castle, spring-mounted animals, carousel, go-cart course and petting zoo, as well as a 2000 m² bike park with drops, banked curve and kickers, for thrilling downhill training.
